The sun was shining, and the connections were flowing on Friday at Beamish Park Golf Club! 121 Business Links was delighted to host another vibrant networking meeting, bringing together a fantastic group of local professionals for a morning of collaboration and inspiration.
We were privileged to welcome two special guests who shared their passions and insights with our attendees.
First up, we had the pleasure of hearing from Rachel Quince, Deputy Chief Executive & Head of Fundraising and Marketing at Willow Burn Hospice (willowburnhospice.org.uk). Rachel eloquently spoke about the incredible and vital work that Willow Burn does in our community. It was truly moving to hear about the care and support they provide to patients and their families. While fundraising is crucial for the hospice to continue its amazing work, Rachel also highlighted the many other ways individuals and businesses can get involved. From volunteering time and skills to simply sharing their updates on social media, every bit of support makes a real difference. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of community spirit and how we can all contribute to such a worthy cause.
Next, we were treated to a fascinating presentation by Ian Ramshaw from Mirror Finish Detailing ( www.mfd-northeast.co.uk) . And he certainly brought the showroom to us with his stunning Fiat Abarth gleaming in the sunshine! Ian expertly explained the benefits of his Angelwax Ceramic coating service for vehicle protection. Who knew the science behind keeping your car looking its best could be so captivating? This liquid ceramic coating not only acts as an invisible shield against the elements, preserving your vehicle’s paintwork, but it also delivers that enviable, head-turning showroom shine. It was a truly insightful session, and many attendees were clearly impressed by the results!
But the morning wasn’t just about listening; it was about active engagement! We rounded off the session with our signature brilliant group ‘Reverse Networking’. This dynamic format gave everyone the opportunity to pitch their business to the room and, perhaps even more importantly, to openly discuss any business-related challenges they were currently facing and seek input from the collective wisdom of the group. It’s always incredible to witness the synergy and innovative solutions that emerge from these sessions. The diverse perspectives and willingness to help each other truly embody the spirit of 121 Business Links.
Today’s meeting at Beamish Park Golf Club was a resounding success, filled with valuable insights, new connections, and a strong sense of community. Thank you to Rachel and Ian for their fantastic contributions, and a big thank you to all who attended and made it such a positive and productive morning.
